DWS designs and manufactures 3D printing systems, along with software and specific materials, all optimized for prosthetic and prosthodontic use. DWS developed the technology used in the 3D printer DFAB with the main goal of reducing printing times and passages leading to prosthesis production (permanent or provisional restorations). Nauta Photoshade not only allows the production of permanent, translucent prosthesis made of Irix Max (Class IIa), but also reproduces the natural-looking effect of patient’s specific teeth colors, in terms of pigmentation and shade thanks to the possibility to choose the exact position and width of the gradient to be obtained. This process is not reproducible with CAD/CAM milling systems and with conventional 3D printers.
